Opportunity
One of the firm's latest development projects shows tremendous promise. In 2007 GlenStar purchased the 40-acre site of the former Culligan International corporate headquarters, located at the intersection of Willow Road and I-294 in unincorporated Cook County, Illinois.

Strategy
GlenStar's strategic plan calls for the property to be annexed to the Village of Glenview and rezoned as a mixed-use development to include 160 residential units, 80,000 square feet of retail space, 600,000 square feet of office space and a 220-room hotel. The original Culligan headquarters building will be eliminated as part of the master plan. Development is expected to commence late in early 2009.
